A lasting friendship with Pollenca and it's artist Antonia Borras brought up this wonderful idea: Three artists from Pollenca, Antonia Borras, Aina Cifre and Miguel Angel Albis decided to support our Karmapa´s Healthcare Project. The stage is now set with the FIL-festival! On behalf of the organisation, these artists will sell screen printings which were composed for this occasion...
May 9, 2011: 2.nd Medical/Dental Camp in Rumtek/Sikkim/IndiaA joint campaign of the 3 institutes - Also this year medical camp took place at Shamar Rinpoche´s house in Rumtek. As last time the doctor aswell as the dentist came from the Municipal Hospital in Gangtok. They worked in one room and both were thoroughly checking one by one (90 people at the end) and writing notes by themselfes. Mama, Ani Tenzin and Phurba, the three responsible, were busy in between the doctor...

Febr. 17–22, 2011: We talked with Beru Khyentse Rinpoche about the recent incorporation of the KHCP into his monastery in Bodhgaya. During Karmapa´s empowerment we held a information desk and informed about the project´s work in the Himalayas.

Am 31.12.2010 fand während des Kagyü-Mönlams in Bodhgaya/Indien das erste KHCP-Instituts-Meeting zwischen Ost und West statt. Es trafen sich jeweils 2 Leiter der Schulen/Klöster mit den KHCP-Ärzten. Lama Phunsok vertrat Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoches Schule in Kathmandu und überreichte dem KHCP-Team diesen Brief. Inzwischen hat unser westliches Ärzte-Team dort die Arbeit übernommen und im März 2011 ein weiteres Medicalcamp durchgeführt.

Sept 2010: Donation of books for the schools in the Himalayas
The company Inlingua International AG in Bern/Switzerland sponsors our project - which supports some schools and monasteries in the Himalayan region, with books and CDs to teach English... In this way three schools from Darjeeling, Ladakh and Sikkim could benefit from this material and improve their program of study...
