Nov 27 - Dec 03, 2009: KHCP-Medical Camp Kagyu Monlam in Bodhgaya/India
This year the Mönlam committee invited us once again to organise the medical camp for the Mönlam practice with Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje and Shamar Rinpoche. 20 helpers from 8 states and 3 continents, doctors and therapists came together for a week to take care of over 3,000 people. Different medical methods, classical medicine, tibetan medicine, homeopathy and physiotherapy has been provided.

July 7, 2009: Lama Tsultrim Namgyal gets new ear devices
After our departure from Rödby, and with a stopover in the Buddhist retreat centre in Hohwacht for a tea break, we arrived in Kiel to meet a doctor and for an audio test. Our Kagyu otologist, Mathias Rüth, has previously offered great support in the provision of new equipment, and our supporters from Switzerland have also helped to enable this laborious endeavour. Lama Tsultrim Namgyal spontaneously decided to give a presentation on H.H. 16th Karmapa to those who remained in the Diamond Way centre in Kiel...
June, 2009: Water-cure of Mipham Rinpoche and Mayum in Marianske Lazne/CZ
The KHCP and the czech sangha invite Mipham Rinpoche and Mayum (parents of Gyalwa Karmapa) for a one-week water-cure in Marianske Lazne. On wednesday many friends from Czech come for a common meditation into the hotel. They get blessing by Rinpoche with Mayum. With common tea and snacks we watch pictures on Karmapa, Lama Ole and the worldwide friends. After the cure Rinpoche and Mayum go then to the retreat centre Tenovice for start of their summer-tour...

Already since back in Mai 2008 we have discussed and coordinated our medical-camp idea with Karmapa and Shamarpa. With the great help of the Mönlam commitee we can do all the necessary preparations for our doctor and helper team in only a day. We get a clinic room as well as various helpers. Furthermore the equipment for the three KHCP-film nights has to be put in place...
