Checkups at Beru Kyentse Rinpoche´s Monastery in Boudha/Kathmandu

"March 02, 2013:
I first contacted KHCP about a year ago in order to help Karma Tharye Monastery, Beru Khyentse Rinpoche's Monastery in Boudha, Kathmandu, and home to about 40 mainly young monks. It is amazing to see how much effort is made to make a change.

A group of Doctors and helpers, Pia and Peter visited the monastery to directly make a Check-up with the few monks that were at home at that time, and especially to get a picture about the situation. This way they can really benefit the monks here in the best possible way, as every place is different and needs a different way of support. The offered help includes common health care as well as a dental care for all the monks in cooperation with the Dhulikhel Hospital. Right now we are at the beginning of a process that will be really make a difference for all.
