KHCP followed an invitation of Chime Tulku Rinpoche and his monastery which is part of the KHCP medical program since 2008.
"...His Holiness 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje visited first time to Ladakh to inaugurate the Chime Rinpoche´s Karma Dupgyud Choeling (KDC) Monastery.
28th August, 2015, it was the day that Gyalwa Karmapa inaugurated Karma Dupgyud Choeling Monastery followed by welcome address by Choeje Lama Zotpa Rinpoche, Chime Rinpoche, Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche, Shangpa Rinpoche, Lodoe Rinpoche, H.E. Choeje Togden Rinpoche and Rinpoche from various monastery, Tulkus, Dharma friends and people from different countries were involved. It was really fortunate to be a part of the day.
The following days are schedule for the various ceremony including Amitayus Long life Puja also to purify negative karma including blessing for the new shrine room and thangkas of the monasteries.
His Holiness was invited by different monasteries and by the communities, we travelled with, the living Buddha in the land of gompas in various altitude ranging from 3100 – 4000 meters. Series of empowerment and teaching done in different monasteries for the different communities to purify the negative karma by gaining positive karma and bodhichita, devoted to enlighten all beings.
During Gyalwa Karmapa´s visit he gave inspiring speech to students of centralized Residential School, Tangtse focusing on love and compassion, health and education and about this precious life that we should not waste."
