KHCP Support for Floot Relief Camgaigns of BIA Foundation Nepal
𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝-𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐑𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐰𝐚 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭

With the generous support of our BIA members, supporters, and friends, we successfully organized our second relief aid mission to the flood-affected areas of Rasuwa.
This time, our team travelled to Nilkantha School, Uttargaya Rural Municipality, Betra woti, Rasuwa, which is currently serving as a key relief receiving and distribution center for communities affected by the devastating floods. And functioning as a holding center. We were in contact with the representatives of the Rural municipality.
We departed Kathmandu at 6:00 AM and reached the destination at around 4:30 PM. The journey was challenging, with extremely difficult road conditions. Yet, we were deeply moved to see individuals, communities, private groups, and organized teams coming together and navigating these difficult routes to ensure essential relief reaches those who need it most.
According to the local government, the center initially accommodated 150 victims evacuated from high-risk areas before they were transferred to Kathmandu. It is now being used as a stock receiving and distribution hub, from where relief supplies are being delivered to other affected holding centers and communities by road and, where necessary, by helicopter.
Through this mission, we successfully delivered two truckloads and one mini-pickup load of essential relief supplies, including:
Cooking gas, Tents and tarpaulins, Rice and dal, Cooking oil, Sanitary pads, Solar lights and, torchlights, bathing and Laundry soap, Toothpaste and toothbrushes, Other essential household supplies.
We are immensely grateful to everyone who contributed, supported, coordinated, transported, and stood with us in this effort. Your kindness and solidarity are helping bring much-needed support to families facing an incredibly difficult time.

On 4th Sept. 2026 the KHCP transfered about 262.000 NPR to BIA Foundation for supporting any of their floot relief campaigns in Nepal.
