COVID19-relief campaigns of KHCP and White Grain Foundation

April-November, 2020: KHCP Karmapa Healthcare Project transfered money for diverse COVID19-reliefs - organized by Magda Jung and her White Grain Foundation in Kathmandu

KHCP transfered in sum 2800€ for diverse campaigns in Kathmandu:
Mainly food for poor people and for supporting animal health care.

"Thanks to donations from KHCP-Karmapas Healthcare Project that went through White Grain Foundation we were able to provide lot of food for animals of Swayambhu, free hot meals for people from Swayambhu ward and food delivery for many families in Sarlahi and Ramkot district.

Subject: White Grain Report - 800eur donation from KHCP for Swayambhu hot meals

Dear Pia and Peter,
here report from your 800 Euro donation in May, for the hot meal distribution at Swayambhu.
That time Swayambhu ward office was providing hot meals every day beneath the Swayambhu Stupa, as well as three other location. They provided more than 2000 meals daily at that time.

Subject: White Grain Report - 500 eur donation for old age home food distribution

Dear Pia and Peter,
here is report for your 500 Euro contribution to provide 36 people from old age home living nearby Basanthapur (Distributed on August 1, 2020).

Each person received:
15kg rice
3kg beaten rice
3kg dahl
1 kg salt
2kg sugar
1l oil
3 packs of soya chunks

In order to keep social distancing, each person received coupon with her/his name, and went to nearby storage room to receive package.

Subject: White Grain Report - 1000 eur donation from KHCP for Dashain food packages

Dear Pia and Peter,
here is short report for your recent 1000 Euro donation, which was used to provide 100 food packages for people during Dashain.

One package included 25 kg of rice and 2kg dahl. Previous packages included additional products, but upon request from Mr Ishwor Man Dangol (Chairman of Swayambhu ward) and Mr Jeevan Ram Shrestha (Parliment member) we decided to change the package during dashain festival. It is said, that most important part to celebrate Dashain is to have rice in the family, and this is what more people were longing for.
Members of Swayambhu Ward office carefully selected families that needed this support mostly.
In order to keep social distancing, around 20-40 packages were distributed daily at scheduled place.

Attached some images, as well as copy of the bills for the packages.
