Report 2024 - BIA Foundation of Chogyal Rinpoche in Kathmandu/Nepal

About BIA:
Bodhisattvas in Action (BIA) is a social non-government organization founded by Chogyal Rinpoche with the pure objective of helping the disabled and the underprivileged people.
Currently there are twelve different institutes run by the disabled people in Nepal under BIA Foundation
The KHCP temporarely organized little medical checkups for the disabled here and bought a industrial washing machine.
We annually support there self-organized heathcare actions with a monetary budget. Our friends at BIA-Foundation sent us a grand report about their activities in 2024 and how they used the money for.
In Febr. 2019 the KHCP (Pia, Peter, Dr. Sonam, Dr. Angelika Leist) visited the BIA-Foundation of Chogyal Rinpoche near Boudha in Narayantar, Jorpati Kathmandu.
They currently have 13 projects under which the students learn various handicraft skills.
Thangka Institute, Weaver Institute, Applique Thangka Institute, Incense Institute, Tailoring Institute, Dhaka Institute, Carpet Institute, Bamboo Institute, Mala Institute, Statue Institute, Mobile Repair Institute, Wood carving Institute, Organic Farming and Art Therapy Class are the projects we have so far.
