Dear KHCP friends,
2014 was a very exciting year.

• Two days before his death in Renchen Ulm, we had the great fortune to receive important advice from Künzig Shamar Rinpoche for the KHCP. We were able to put in place a medical camp for his cremation in Kathmandu in June and offer help for thousands of people who paid their last respects to him. The cooperation with the University Hospital Dhulikhel in Nepal was enormously helpful.

Over the year there were numerous medical and dental camps at our institutes, monasteries and schools in the Himalayas. We gave you detailed reports throughout the year via Facebook and our website.

• Conforming with the wishes of Karmapa and Shamarpa, many "Western" friends were able to develop their social activity and help at KHCP's Mönlam medical camp last December. Almost 50 helpers from many nations treated more than 3000 people in just one week.

• The idea for our Rumtek hospital is still alive, through financial support for our monastic places and for the laymen community there, until all the necessary conditions have come together.
  IMPORTANT: The situation in Rumtek is simply awful - in every regard. We need more donations to give our support safely.

In 2014 KHCP was proud to collect about 53.000 Euros. Our deepest appreciation and heartfelt thanks to every supporter! You make it possible that help reaches so many people.
Have a look at the current amount of collected donations in the chart on the welcome page of our website. We need to collect a minimum of 60,000 Euros a year to be able to provide the most rudimentary treatments.
