Medical camp during cremation ceremonies of Kunzig Shamar Rinpoche at Sharminub Monastery, Kathmandu/Nepal 2014-07

The cremation ceremonies of Kunzig Shamar Rinpoche in Kathmandu were led by His Holiness 17th Karmapa Thaye Dorje. Representatives from all the main schools of Tibetan Buddhism attended. Many dignitaries attended, including the Minister for Information and Communications Dr Minendra Rijal, Minister of State for Labor Tek Bahadur Gurung, the Thai ambassador to Nepal Kanthong Unakul, and Legso Lopon, representing the Bhutanese Royal Guru Je Khenpo.
Every day tens of thousands of devotees came from Nepal, India, and all over the world to pay their respects.
During this two weeks of ceremonies the KHCP-DHK provided a grand medical camp. Our team consist on medical professions from Kathmandu and Europe. They could treat hundreds of people every day.
Many thanks to all volunteers and special thanks to the Dhulikhel Hospital, the organization team of Sharminub, the Manang Community Kathmandu and the Diamondway for their support and cooperation at place.
