Wheelchair Assessment Camp 2018-03 - BIA Sertshang Orphanage of Chogyal Rinpoche in Kathmandu/Nepal

The KHCP-Karmapa´s Healthcare Project/Dhulikhel University Hospital Kathmandu organized a Wheelchair Assessment Camp for eighty habitants.

"Dear Pia,
we have done wheelchair assessment for the people of BIA foundation after there request.
To promote personal mobility at the maximum level with the greatest possible independence for people with disabilities and to enhance the quality of life of users in less-resourced settings through improved access to wheelchairs, Our team from Department of Physiotherapy; Dhulikhel Hospital with support of KHCP assessed the people of BIA Foundation to prescribe the appropriate wheelchair as per the WHO guidelines.
